Fun Fun Weekend
I haven't done a "did this" "did that" post in a long time. Here it goes, with pictures even*.

Girlfriend is out of town.
Friday-


  • Lunch with Paul, Allison, Judy at the Mellow-type Mushroom

  • Hodgson's Ice Cream with Jessie

  • Hanging with Mr. Cooper**

  • Sausage Party - literally


Saturday-

  • 9am departure for Atlanta - Backpack full of clothes

  • 10am - Backpack 1/2 full of clothes. Very bummer. Items lost

    • silk Hawiaan shirt $40

    • Miller Highlife Hat $10

    • Entire shaving kit including a prescription $40



  • 12 noon - Arrive at Six Flags

  • 3:30 - Finish 1st ride, go to car for crying and sandwiches. To be honest the rest of the day was much better. Like...



    • Monster Plantation


    • Wheelie


    • More Wheelie



Girlfriend is home

  • Go to dogwood festival



    • Festival 1


    • Festival 2


    • The Duck Walk


    • Pick Me


    • Blue Face


  • Picnic lunch with my sweetheart



Monday I played hooky and just chilled out and read some. It was awesome. Cooked some dinner and baked some bread. Most enjoyable. I have to go now, as I have a lot to do here at work! More commentary to come at a later point.

And, what's the story with the lost items? Did your backpack 'splode on the highway?

Oh yeah, I guess I didn't explain my lost items. I was dumb and left the zippers on my pack up on the top instead of the side, so they crept down at highway speeds. I backtracked about 20 miles on 316 looking for my stuff, so it must have been unzipped for quite a while. All those people around me and nobody said anything to me for all that time :(

The girl traversing as though a duck is in fact my girl. I don't know if she has seen this post yet or what she thinks of me posting pictures of her walking like a quack-quack machine.
